One part professional development; one part secret society — we’re aiming to help NEW (or new-ish) Rec Directors shift from unsure 😵‍💫 to locked in 💪😎!

As a former RD (like many other RDs I know) I jumped into the role not really knowing what the job is about — there was a LOT to learn! 🤯

Wrangling kids & teaching cartwheels was easy - but managing a staff team and rec program was new territory. 😬

Our RD 101 course will help new RDs navigate the role and find your footing - and your people. This job is a million times better when you have a community that “gets it” beside you, so we’ll help you find that too. 🙌

It’s gonna be virtual, interactive, insanely practical and action-oriented. More info is coming soon - we are aiming to start with our first cohort at the end of March. 🍀

Have you heard of Rebound Therapy? I was able to take a course yesterday with @therabounce - learning how to combine trampoline and therapy to help individuals with a range of exceptionalities. It was super interesting and really highlighted how we can use our specialized equipment to make a huge difference to improve our participants’ lives.
